Integrated Circuit Industry Development Symposium
The Integrated Circuit Industry Development Seminar discussed strengthening Party building, researching the association's development direction, serving the government and enterprises, improving information value, establishing an industry think tank platform, exchanging with sister associations and domestic and foreign counterparts, and strengthening internal association management. It continued to emphasize strengthening Party building, maintaining Party building-led development, strengthening ties with government departments, actively reflecting the needs of enterprises, monitoring operational trends, conducting special research, providing references for government and enterprise decision-making, mastering standard setting, continuing talent cultivation, and promoting international exchanges to create high-quality events and provide high-quality services to members.
It proposed advocating fair competition within the industry, emphasizing independent research and development innovation, promoting cooperation between material and equipment manufacturers, cultivating talented individuals with both technical expertise and knowledge, and offering guiding and practical suggestions on how to grow and strengthen the industry.
Finally, it suggested a rational view of investment, expansion, financing, and listing phenomena, warning against localized overheating. The association was advised to conduct more special studies and provide guidance on how enterprises can achieve sustainable and healthy development.
To help attendees better understand industry information and the progress of standard development, the meeting also shared two documents as attachments: 'Summary of Electronic Circuit Industry Investment and Expansion Information in the First Half of 2018' and 'Progress Report on the Development of Relevant Standards in the Electronic Circuit Industry'.
